Meet Gabrielle from Such A 4. Such A 4 comes from her being an enneagram 4. If you have never heard of an enneagram, I would suggest you look it up and take the test. Results are pretty spot on! Gabrielle’s BFF used to tell her “You are such a 4!” (in reference to her personality), then she took the test and she was! She started her artistic, creative journey over a year ago and resides in Mount Pleasant, SC. Gabrielle draws inspiration for her pieces from works of art, interior design and architecture. When she is not busy creating, she loves weightlifting and enjoys quiet time alone with her thoughts. In that time she will dabble in architectural design, artwork or anything else she may be into at the moment. Her interests are ever changing though, so it’s hard to nail it down but tends to be centered on design, color and thought provoking ideas. She recently watched The Queen’s Gambit and now taken up chess! This perfectionist Libra is either catching up on The Bachelor with a glass of wine or watching ASMR on YouTube, if it’s a later night, while she is creating.

What made you want to start creating?
“I’ve been on a long search for a creative outlet. Something I can do with my hands.”
What is your MOST FAVORITE item you have created?-“I imagine I haven’t created it yet. Each collection or piece is my favorite at that moment. But then I create again and it changes. So maybe the answer is all of them?”
Would you like to share family details?
“I’m a mother of a 5 year-old curious and unimaginably sweet son named Liam. My forever fiancé (that’s what we call it since we don’t plan to marry legally lol) Rory, is a certified sommelier and fine dining server. As a family we love browsing vintage shops, old homes, hitting the beach whenever we can and enjoying good food and drinks together. We have a dog-like cat named Jax who insists on ruining our furniture and costing us our deposits each year we move homes but he is super cuddly and sweet so we keep him around.”
What makes your shop unique?
“I like to think my specialty is my use of clay as an art medium that expresses my creative mind first and foremost rather than a place to find pieces that every other maker is creating for the masses. My customers tend to appreciate big, bold and unique pieces.”
