Meet Shauna from Roo and Roo. Shauna lives in Gloucester, MA. She went to undergrad and grad school for jewelry and metalsmithing, so she has been making jewelry for a long time but she started experimenting with making clay jewelry about 2-3 years ago. She finds inspiration in glitter, Disney, color, childlike wonder, and whimsy, to name a few! Shauna is a full-time teacher and Disney fanatic. When she has down time she enjoys reading, going to the beach, and she loves to spend time with her family! When she is creating her joy-inducing earrings she likes to listen to music, podcasts, or watch a show or movie-it depends on her mood!
Roo and Roo specializes in statement polymer clay earrings. I love how she stays true to creating earrings that are large and in charge, yet super lightweight and comfortable. Her color choices, paired with her unique designs make every style a winner and a must have for every statement earring lover’s collection. “I have always been creating since I was a little girl. I have loved art my whole life, and making jewelry is an extension of that love.”

“I am married, and I am very close with my family. I am one of four siblings.”

“My bubble earrings!”
-What makes your shop unique? What is your specialty?-
“I make what I love, and that usually means big and bold! My specialty is colorful, glittery, and bright earrings that are super lightweight and fun to wear.”
-What is the story behind your business name?-
“Roo and Roo are the nicknames of my husband and I! Roo is short for rooster.”
