Meet Bianca from Lively Clay Designs. She started creating with clay around 10 months ago and is located in San Diego, California. Bianca draws inspiration for her pieces from everyday life, womanhood, nature and landscapes, other art mediums and home decor. When she is not creating beautiful pieces of art with clay, she enjoys photography of people and drinking coffee. This artistic Pisces sometimes likes to watch Friends when she creates and other times she enjoys the quietness of the night. When her children go to bed, it’s her time to unwind and create.

Q&A with Bianca:
What made you want to start creating?
“I am a DIY-er by heart. Anyone who knows me knows I’m a “do it myself” type of person. I love to challenge the creative side of me. It just makes me feel alive and so happy to make pretty things with my hands. During the peek of the pandemic, my anxiety level was off the roof, I needed to keep my mind occupied on something different. I watched some videos about polymer clay, put my kids to bed, poured a glass of wine and decided to make my own earrings. Hundreds of dollars later (don’t tell my husband, lol) I decided to sell some to friends and family. This medium helped me stay sane during these crazy times. And I’ve met so many beautiful people through this, and for that, I am forever grateful.”
What is your MOST FAVORITE item you have created?
“Such a tough question to answer. I have many favorites. But I’m currently loving the chain link earrings the most.”
Would you like to share family details?-“I’ve been married for 6 years. I am a mom of 2 beautiful boys. Liam (4) and Noah (1.5).”
What makes your shop unique?
“My specialty is creating unique, chic, simple but bold polymer clay earrings. It’s an honor to represent not only moms but also Latinx community in this medium.”
