Here are some words from Karin :
-What made you want to start creating?-
“I started creating because it was the only thing that made me feel inspired and motivated. When I create I feel aligned with my purpose and more confident in myself. Insecurities that I have or had go away.”
-Would you like to share any family info? Pets?-
“I have a puppy named Meelo! He is my world. I have the most amazing boyfriend who helps me in my business. Also I come from a family of creative and entrepreneurial individuals like my mom and dad. They’ve helped me so much with my business, and they’ve invested in me so much.”
-What is your MOST FAVORITE item you have created?-
“I love my Isla Hoops! They’re bold and confident! They’re a true work of art and require sculpting like a statue.”
-What makes your shop unique? What is your specialty?-
“Oftentimes people tell me my work is very classy and warm. It’s very reflective of how people, even strangers, perceive me. Even when I don’t try I’m always told that I carry myself in a very classy way. I love that even if I don’t always feel that way about myself. Somehow it still flows through even my jewelry. I’ve received feedback that my jewelry makes people feel royal and classy. My specialty would be fun and modern jewelry with a flare elegance.”
-What is the story behind your business name?-
“My business started as just a creative outlet for me. I wasn’t living a life that was as creative as I wanted to at the time I started. I was finishing college and I felt like I wasn’t truly living by my passions. I started my business originally making journals. I love journals and journaling has always been a mental health practice for me. I wanted to add more to my collection and I came upon jewelry. Jewelry is so expressive and working with mediums like polymer clay and resin has been so fun and relaxing. My jewelry is now the majority of my collection and I’m excited to keep expanding.”
