Maker Spotlight – Get To Know The Face Behind The Brand.
Meet Irene from Elementi Boutique. Irene lives in Manhattan Beach, California and has been making jewelry using beads and stones for over 40 years. As a little girl, her aunt gave her some beads and it was love at first sight. She finds inspiration for her pieces from the colors of nature, the smell of flowers, and a table full of beads and gemstones. When this creative and generous Pisces isn’t carefully crafting her art, she loves the outdoors, hiking, exploring, traveling, and cooking/baking. Irene likes listening to music or sitting on her patio while she is creating.
Elementi Boutique specializes in elegant and well-crafted jewelry made from stones and beads. Irene welcomes custom orders. Please DM her if you have any questions or see anything on her page that you would like to purchase. Her Etsy store is in her IG bio. It is important to note that Irene donates a percentage of all sales to the research of metastatic breast cancer and charities.
Here are some words from Irene:
-What made you want to start creating?-
“I’ve always enjoyed arts and crafts. It’s an outlet for me, my happy place. I also enjoy making items that will make other people happy when they wear them.”
-Would you like to share any family info? Pets?-
“My husband and I adopted two Boston terrier French bulldogs about 10 years ago. Bo and Daisy are our first babies. We recently rescued a 16 year old cat named Jackson. Everyone is getting along really well.”
-What is your MOST FAVORITE item you have created?-
“I kind of love all the items I make. I really do like my layer necklaces. They are so much fun to wear.”
-What makes your shop unique?-
“I use good quality materials, like semi precious stones and metals for most of my pieces. They are a labor of love. I make small batch creations that are one of a kind.”
-What is the story behind your business name?-
“I’m Italian and wanted to use an Italian word. I choose elementi because it contains all the elements like earth, water, fire etc, because I use natural materials like gemstones that are found in our earth.”
